I painted Liquid light in an attempt to ‘paint something too pretty to part with’ and I really fell in love with it while I was creating it… For me Liquid Light is almost completely feminine energetically and it has a potent dynamic flow to it that I’m yet to top.
There are subtle harmonies in this painting between large psychedelic spermies all pouring out from the central energy source and the gentle little dots that complement their contours… All the energy in this painting is expanding but it’s done in such a gentle way that the flow is soothing for the viewer
